dyad Math.
A tensor formed from the product of two vectors. It is not a dot product nor a cross product since a dyad has no multiplication symbol separates the factor. For example, consider two vectors A and B:

A = axx + ayy + azz
B = bxx + byy + bzz

and a dyad is the product AB written as:

AB = (axx + ayy + azz)(bxx + byy + bzz)
= axbx x.x + axby x.y + axbz x.z + ...

Alternatively, the dyad can be written in symbols (the nonian form) as follows:

T = Txxx.x + Txyx.y + Txzx.z +
Tyxy.x + Tyyy.y + Tyzy.z +
Tzxz.x + Tzyz.y + Tzzz.z

dystectic mixture Chem.
