Faraday constant Chem.
It is the amount of electric charge carried by one mole of electrons or singly charged ions. Is is abbreviated as F in unit C/mol. In other words, it is the product of
the electron charge and the Avogadro's number and has a value of about 96484 C/mol. It is named after the English Chemist Michael Faraday (1791-1867). Faraday constant is important in applications
of electrochemistry calculations.
