Nichrome Eng.
Tradename for a group of nickel-chromium alloys. They are resistance to chemical attacks and have high electrical resistivity. It is useful in making heating elements. For example, Nichrome-60, consists of 58% nickel, 16% chromium, 1.5% silicon and 24.5% iron (as balance).
