The theoretical idea that the origin of life on earth is seeded from outer space. For instance, comet and meteorite that carried components of life landed on earth and subsequently evolved
under certain conditions to form life on earth. The original idea was conceived by Anaxagoras (500 BC - 428 BC), a Greek philosopher that the seed of life is ubiquitous throughout the universe.
However, it was only until recently that it is accepted as a possible scientific hypotheses.
