A solution with alcohol as the solvent. For example, tincture of iodine is a solution with iodine dissolves in ethanol.
titration Chem.
A technique of volumetric analysis to determine the concentration of a solution sample. A volume of a reagent (say reagent A) of known concentration is added to a known volume of another reagent (say reagent B) slowly and
in small amount from a burrette until an end point is reached. The volume of reagent A just before the end point is reached is noted. The concentration of reagent B can then be determined if the reaction
between A and B is also known.
