Young's modulus Eng.
A measure of mechanical strength or elasticity of a material with a usual symbol of E and defined as a ratio of stress/strain.
The stress can be either tensile or compressive depends on the material being stretched or compressed. It is also known as the elastic
modulus. The unit is in Pascal, Pa (or Nm-2). For example, for soda-lime glass, E = 69 GPa and for iron, E = 196 GPa.
